My video stopped downloading part way through.

Downloading is usually a seamless process and very rarely is there any issue. But if you find the video downloaded only a partial file, check these troubleshooting tips:

  • First check to make sure you have enough hard drive space on your computer to download the video clip. The video's file size is listed in the details on the product page.

  • WiFi connections are sometimes unstable and can drop out during a download. We recommend using a hard wire between your computer and your Internet source.

  • Some browsers will not resume downloading if your Internet connection is momentarily interrupted. We recommend using a browser like Firefox, which can pick up the download where it left off if your Internet connection is interrupted during the download.

  • Try running an Internet Connection Test to see if your connection is robust enough to download large files. If not, use a connection from another source such as an office, Internet cafe or library.

  • If you do download a partial file, delete the file, clear your browser's cache, and close/re-open a new browser before trying again.

  • We want to make sure you received the stock footage video you paid for, so please contact us for help if these tips don't do the trick.

The video format I need isn't listed as available, do you offer conversions?

Most of our footage is available in QuickTime PhotoJPG formats offering a selection of up to 7 different sizes. See the Formats page for more details and the corresponding product pages for the specific sizes available for each clip. If you need a different version of QuickTime other than what is offered on the web site, we can usually offer a high-quality conversion free of charge.

For formats other than QuickTime, we recommend using a free conversion program such as MPEG StreamClip.
